K-6 Assemblies
Our school assemblies are held every second Friday (odd weeks) from 2:15pm in the hall.
The assembly is a time to recognise our students and their achievements. Students are presented with a variety of awards including merit certificates, silver awards, gold awards and Waratah awards.
Our assemblies aim to build school morale, develop and extend student leadership opportunities and provide opportunities for student performances.
All parents are welcome to attend our assemblies.
Student Supervision
Our school playground is supervised by a teacher each morning from 8:45am. We realise that some families must drop their children at school slightly before that time occasionally. We ask in that case that students sit on a seat, in the assembly area, until the duty bell sounds.
After school, students who travel by bus assemble in designated areas with teacher supervision. Students who are being collected by a parent/carer need to arrange a 'meeting place' in a part of the playground or wait near the main gate for quick collection by car from the 'kiss and drop' zone.
School security
All visitors to the school are asked to report to our Office and use the QR code to sign in.
School visitors
If you are assisting in the canteen, classroom or for another reason, please report to the office where you will be asked to sign-in and receive a visitor’s badge. When you depart the school, please return to the office, sign-out and return badge.
Parents and carers
As part of our student welfare policy, parents and caregivers are asked to report to our office if they need to collect a student early from school or for late arrivals.
